The Handoff · Depth Three’s Key
The ceremony
A framed picture on a black screen. Your device proves you are present; the proof becomes a line — one line of text that travels in the address itself and opens the world. Nothing is typed. Nothing is sent. Nothing is kept.
Preparing the ceremony…
Line struck
The line’s fingerprint — 32 low, 32 high: the Diamond word’s shape, payload above, proof · grade · authority below. The line itself rides in the address when you enter.
What just happened, in one breath
The ceremony ran on your device. Where a platform authenticator was available, your device verified your presence and this page received only a handle, hashed it in memory, and let it go — a line graded REPORTED. Where it was not, a press-and-hold stood in and the line is graded MODELED, on its face. Either way the line asserts an identity and describes nothing: the dialect refuses, as a matter of grammar, to carry location, motive, or anything biometric.
Your device may keep a passkey it created during the ceremony — that is your device’s keeping, under your device’s lock. This page stored nothing, and there is no server in this package to send anything to.
